Community Appeal for Volunteers

Following the opening of the Bar Hill Hotel for Asylum Seekers, South Cambridgeshire District Council is looking for volunteers to assist with collecting and transporting donations from the Parish Council offices to the hotel (normally each afternoon between 2 and 4pm), as well as sorting and organising through the donations at the hotel.
We are seeking several individuals who can offer their assistance on a regular basis. Please contact Ana-Maria Pitis on Ana-Maria.Pitis@scambs.gov.uk for more information if you feel you are able to help.
The District Council is working with the Parish Council to learn how the community would like to get involved. This may include ideas for activities and initiatives to help people adapt, learn their way around Bar Hill and integrate with the community.
